Portobello's was the masterstroke of restaurateur Gerry Haynes, whose lifetime of experience in the food service industry brought five star international dining standards to St. John's. Chef Edward Farrell is trained in classical French cooking, but his menus are truly global in scope and inspiration. Shortly after opening two years ago, Portobello's quickly gained huge popularity among local food critics. In 2010, the restaurant moved to its current location, which offers a stunning ocean view to accompany our fare, plus three times the space to serve our ever-growing clientele.
